Announcements and Music for May 19th

Good Evening All!

Great practice last night.  ***There will be no senior’s concert on May 19th at Amica!***  In it’s place we will hold a regular rehearsal next week at St Peter’s HS at our normal time.  All other timings and details sent out in my previous two emails and posted on our band website remain unchanged. 

Section Leaders, to reinforce Lisa’s comments and as our season is coming to an end, may I please ask you to reach out to any of the members of your section that have not been at practice lately to ensure that they return their folder before the end of our year.  For these players and any member that will not be at our folder night on June 16th, folders can be dropped off at St Peter’s HS front office (attn Ms Concessi Maclean) at any time before our folder night, at our AGM on June 9th or through your Section Leader.

Please remember to take our Stop, Start, Continue and Returning Next Season surveys no later than Tuesday May 19th.  Let me know if you need another copy of our email with the survey links.  If you are having trouble with the links, feel free to send your comments and feedback directly to us by email.  We plan to discuss your comments and feedback at our Exec Mtg on May 25th and provide you a brief summary and feedback on the season at our AGM on June 9th.  If you email your feedback to us, I will be sure to keep your comments anonymous during our Exec discussions and debrief to the band.

Fadi will be conducting next Tuesday’s practice and co-conducting our concert in the park on June 7th.  He will add the following pieces to our repertoire and asked that we be prepared to go over these pieces on Tuesday:
