Music for Nov 10th and Announcements

Please contact Cindy (cindykshaheen@gmail.com) if you can offer your assistance producing our program and / or tickets for our Christmas Concert. This is an important part of our evening and we still don’t have any volunteers to help in this area. As mentioned earlier, we will be adding to the theme of our concert Musical Memories of the Season by reading short personal anecdotes during the evening and projecting Christmas family pictures in the background. All pictures and anecdotes will remain anonymous. Please help us create this warmth and personal flavour to our concert by sharing your anecdotes with us. You can email your anecdotes to Lisa (lisa.concessimaclean@gmail.com) and your pictures to Andrea (sloan_22@sympatico.ca).

As part of our marketing strategy we are again encouraging small groups to go out and perform in the community in advance of our concert. We have GCCB Banners to hang on your music stands and our concert flyers will soon be ready for distribution. Erin has pulled out some small ensemble music we have in our library and I will be looking downtown to see if we can invest in some additional small ensemble music for this purpose. Please contact Erin if you’d like to see what our music looks like and let me know if you have a small group that is interested in helping market our concert.
