Announcements and Music for April 19th

Thank you to Anna for organizing a great social this past Tuesday. We had a good turnout and enjoyed some very tasty appy’s and desserts!

Our small ensemble performance at the BFM Grand Opening went very well. We trialed two small ensemble books borrowed from Lisa’s high school band and have decided to purchase one set along with two others we have selected from Leading Note. These books along with the set we purchased at Christmas will provide our band the flexibility to put together small groups on short notice to perform at different events and functions. Once they arrive, I will be looking for a volunteer to help me scan the books to make them easier to share. Please let me know if you can help us out.

Tickets for our Spring Concert are now available from any member of your Executive. All of you are asked to sell at least two tickets to ensure we cover our costs for using the Community Pentecostal Church; $10 / adults, $5 children 2-12. Please see Anna, Cindy, Jacquie or I during breaks or before or after our rehearsals. We will be collecting for the Food Band and are also looking for door prizes to give away. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can offer something to our effort.

Please see or email Anna (annatessierpersonal@gmail.com) if you haven’t double-checked the spelling of your name on the list she’s been passing around for our Spring Concert.

Kelley came across this link that shows our charity stats online:

Lisa asked me to pass on the attached St John’s Music Sale flyer. Their intermediate and pro level woodwind and brass instruments along with accessories will be on sale 23-24 Apr. I have contact details if you are interested in a specific instrument or pricing.
