Announcements and Music Focus for Nov 29th
For the comfort of those who sit close to the side entrance, we will be locking the side door to our rehearsal room at 7:10 pm starting Tuesday. The front door to St Peter’s is open. If you will be late, please park around front and come in the main entrance to the high school.
Andrea has been working extremely hard in the last couple of weeks to ensure we are getting the best deal available from our Insurance Broker. We have been with them for many years with our insurance premiums creeping up for the past few years. This year’s quote of $2950 became the final straw and Andrea was able to negotiate a premium of $1610 / year from a different insurance company. There are a few very minor differences in coverage but Andrea has done her research in detail and we will be saving over $1300 / year for our insurance!! Please be sure to thank Andrea at next rehearsal; I will buy you an adult beverage of your choice at BAB on Tuesday Andrea!!
Fall Concert. John is still looking for several volunteers for our concert. If you or someone you know are able to help in one of the following areas, please contact John (padre.wilcox@gmail.com) as soon as possible:
a. pick up flowers for door prizes;
b. sell and collect tickets at front door Dec 6th; and
c. help with Food Drive table Dec 6th.
The volunteers will get a free ticket to our concert!
Our new Christmas Small Ensemble books are available online for those who would like to get together to promote our concert; please email or see me if you’d like access. For those who would like to use them, we have GCCB Music Stand banners that can be used for these occasions. Please remember to print a few of our posters and ask us for some concert tickets to sell in case someone would like to purchase them during your small ensemble performance.
