Announcements and Music for Oct 11th

I’d like to extend a sincere thank you to Kelley who organized and ran our fall social for us. I think I speak for everyone when I say it was a huge success and everyone had a great time. Congratulations to Erin for winning Bingo. I understand drinks are on you at our next BAB? Maya, Eric, Chelsea, Jamie you have now been officially welcomed and are part of our crazy family!

As I mentioned earlier this week, Lisa and her St Pete’s Junior Band colleague set a new record by running a rehearsal with 110 students in our band room. Although we are close and support each other in GCCB, I don’t think we want to be as close as these students were; I was there…. In order to allow the percussionists and our librarian freedom of movement during our rehearsals may we ask for your cooperation in storing any big instrument cases in the small rehearsal room attached to our band room or underneath the cupboards at the back of the room?
